Crews began some of the work around the new civic plaza at the Masonic Temple today (Monday October 30th 2006). Over the past weekened, however, MSP volunteers Alan Vogel and John Ullberg built a wooden sign holder for the Masonic Temple's display sign. The orginal sign (made of pipe) stood at the center of the plaza, but such an obstruction would disrupt the flow of a civic space. The sign will now be at the side of the civic plaza (by the driveway sandwiched between the Masonic Temple and Trumansburg Liquors), held up by the brand new wood frame pictured here.
