Rain delay? What rain delay?

The brief, but strong, rain shower this morning did hamper construction efforts, but has not caused any significant delays to overall construction. Crews continue to dig the trench for new utility conduit from the Masonic Temple all the past the Bikram Yoga studio so they can connect with the conduit laid down last week. Teams from Economy Paving continued to fill in the dug up areas around Ron Don's and the Tompkins Trust Company Bank in order to prepare those areas for completion.

The rain does mean that concrete will (once again!) not be poured today and that crews from A & K Slipform, the concrete subcontractor, are scheduled to return tomorrow to pour the concrete along the southside of West Main Street.
